OEM and ODM LED Downlights

If you sell downlights under your own brand, the work starts from the same twelve fields we use for everything else. You tell us which fields your design fixes and which you’d like us to propose; we turn that into drawings, samples and a production spec sheet.

Process

Five steps from brief to production

  1. Brief by field code

List the F-codes your design fixes (cut-out, face diameter or housing finish, say) and the ones you want us to recommend. A family and a target market are enough to start.

  2. Drawing review

Our R&D team returns dimensioned drawings for review. Changes are made on paper, where they’re cheap.

  3. Samples

Samples are built to the agreed drawing so you can check fit, finish and light in your own ceilings.

  4. Inspection

Production is checked against the approved sample and spec sheet, including dimensional checks like the one pictured.

  5. Branding and packaging

Labels, markings and packaging are agreed per project, along with certification per model for your target market.

OEM or ODM

Which one you need

OEM

Your brand on one of our existing models. The spec sheet already exists; we confirm the fields and agree branding, markings and packaging.

ODM

A new or modified design: a different trim, finish, housing material or optic. It goes through drawings and samples before the spec sheet is fixed.

Quantities and schedules are agreed per project rather than published. Start with the family and the fields you care about. The LED downlights page shows what each family covers.

Send the fields your design fixes

List the F-codes that are fixed by your design and the ones you want us to propose. Our R&D team replies with drawings to review.
